(100808) 15th Annual Ferret Show - Sunday 08 August 2010 Sunday 08 August 2010 Jackadder Lake Cnr Rosewood Ave & Jackadder Way, WOODLANDS (behind Innaloo shops) Payment and registration (collection of your badges) 9:30 - 10am Judging starts at 10am Because the judging sheets are all done by computer, entries close 5pm Friday 06 August 2010. Ferret Necessities will be open for business. The WAFFS Coffee Shop will be up and running. Bring along your own picnic (or free BBQs are available). This is an all day event so please be prepared to stay for the day. Make sure that you bring food and water for your ferrets, as well as for yourselves. |

hello lynda thank you for the ferret race day the ferrets had a lot of fun and so did we!!!!!!i was wondering what happens at the ferret show??? what classes are there like best male or female??? just curious thank you sas |

The ferret show is just a fun day. Ferrets can be entered into the weigh and measure category, which will give the ferrets BMI and then there are prizes for smallest, largest, average etc. The other categories include prettiest face for both male and female in all the different colourings. Then there are categories such as Darkest, Whitest, Yellowest, Most Glorious Coat and Luxurious Whiskers. There is the most look-alike pair and fancy dress for individuals and for group themes. There is also a slightly more serious category for Overall Ferret of the Day, which takes into consideration things like Clean Teeth, Short/Clean Nails, Clean Ears, Coat Condition and general health of the ferret. A copy of the entry form will be in the newsletter which should be out next week and hopefully on this forum shortly. |
